Things I do not understand

A person who actually calls up his/her financial advisor to tell them to stop earning them so much money.

How anyone can justify getting their hair colored as a business expense.

Low carb diets.

People who drink wheatgrass juice. I imagine it would give you barn-breath.

An agency that shuts down ocean fishing to help out some farmers, which hurts fishing families and communities. Haven't they ever heard of win-win negotiating?

Politics and bureaucracy. I get the feeling that this whole civilization thing doesn't need to be this complex.

People who watch and/or read the news more than once a day. When left to my own devices, I don't follow it at all. It upsets pushy newspaper salesmen, but they are wrong, everyone does not need a newspaper.

If you don't know how to work a piece of technology, admit it. Don't pretend you understand it if you don't.

Cha Cha Cha Cha Changes

No I haven't disappeared. I moved three days before Christmas. Had to put most of my books and things into storage and have little internet time because I'm using someone else's computer. Can't tell you what the plan is because at the moment I don't really have one.

I've made a New Year's resolution to eat more chocolate and wear more muumuus. I still haven't met evil Peggy who apparently likes to mind other people's business more than her own, but I have been interviewing for work which is wierd because I live in a town that is much (much much) smaller than Portland but in six months I only had three interviews. I've had that many just last week!
